Christmas in July Celebration with Base Camp

What a fantastic evening with Base Camp’s Christmas in July! Spirits were high and the Children were full of energy and excitement to meet with all their favorite Heroes, Villains on good behavior, and Princesses at the Rosen Centre.

It is always such a joy to see big smiles on the faces of happy kids and their parents, and it is even more rewarding to be a part of that experience. A lot of Children participated in dancing to the tunes the DJ spun and showed off with big grins on the dance floor.

Step Up for Down Syndrome – Buddy Walk

The Step Up for Down Syndrome event at Lake Eola Park was a fabulous success.

Many members of the Guardians of Justice came out, dressed as characters from multiple fandoms. Myself, as the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, had an absolute blast. We welcomed and cheered on the runners at the starting line, stood for photos with fans, and high fived any runners passing by.

After the race had begun we then explored the event, taking photos with more people interested in us as well as brightening the days of many young children. It is always a pleasure to bring a smile to the face of a child.
