The Step Up for Down Syndrome event at Lake Eola Park was a fabulous success.

Many members of the Guardians of Justice came out, dressed as characters from multiple fandoms. Myself, as the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, had an absolute blast. We welcomed and cheered on the runners at the starting line, stood for photos with fans, and high fived any runners passing by.

After the race had begun we then explored the event, taking photos with more people interested in us as well as brightening the days of many young children. It is always a pleasure to bring a smile to the face of a child. The Guardians of Justice were well organized and moved in groups so that no one member was alone or overwhelmed. Many morphinominal memories were made that day as myself and other Guardians were honored to share a little joy to our youth.
