I love volunteering and making a difference in the lives of others. Was involved in Girl Scouts as a girl, volunteered as staff for Model United Nations conferences for middle and high school students, and most recently served as an immigration attorney representing immigrants before removal court. I’m also a seasonal character performer at Disney world where I’ve learned the importance a character can have on someone’s life regardless of age. My most memorable moment to date was on my last day of training when a Give Kids the World Family visited us with a young girl that was in a vegetative state and the happiness the mother radiated at having a picture taken with her family and so many Disney characters. I remember my trainer coming backstage in tears after taking the family to meet the princesses because of the impact meeting all those characters had on a family facing some hard curves in life.
